During the past few years it was planned to extend the ESC by a programme which supports the exchange between young scientists. During this time the students are supposed to work on a defined research project under guidance of a qualified scientist of the Charité. This project can also be part of a doctoral thesis. There may potentially also be a possibility for the winners of the research award to publish their abstracts and their results in a journal. Regrettably it is not possible to give more detailed information about that by this point of time because the conditions are still to be negotiated. |
The abstracts will be reviewed and the accepted applicants will present their work in front of a special jury which is set by the respective department. The guidelines and required application documents are:
The aim of the ESC is not to offer an own scholarship with the Charité-Allianz Research Award but we simply want to establish the contact between the laboratories of the Charité and the potential candidates. For this purpose, the conference is meant to be a platform for the selection of potential applicants but the technical realization including a precise research contract is to be organized by the particular department. Note: Research award will only be given to non german students! |
