Talks - Guidelines and Information
Session structure:
Time: A Session includes 8 people and lasts max. 90 minutes, with a strict time limit of 8 minutes per presentation. You will be asked to stop when your time is up. Please do not exceed the time limit, since it will be listed by the chair in your score form.

Presentation structure The following structure is suggested for your presentation:
No single structure will fit all presentations. The best resource you have on how to present your work will probably be your research advisor. Please keep in mind that more than one power point per minute of your presentation time normally exceeds the presentation time. Therefore we recommend a maximum of 8±2 slides per talk.
Some general advice:
· Please try to focus on the main aspects of your research work and illustrate these clearly. · Please do not exceed the maximum period of time for your presentation · Please do not try to deliver more information by speaking faster · Please do not overfill your slides as it may reduce the distinctness of your presentation · Please only include information/tables on your slides that are important and will be illustrated during your presentation
Scores: Sessions will be chaired by two jurors and a student juror. Your presentation will be scored according to the following criteria:
The session winners of each session will be announced at 6pm of each conference day so they can prepare to give their presentation in the winner sessions.
